What the JSON workbench does
The workbench formats, minifies, compares, flattens, sorts keys, and merges JSON in the browser. It can also turn JSON into YAML with js-yaml, a limited XML tree, CSV, or a TypeScript type.
Repair
Repair removes trailing commas before a closing brace or bracket. If the text is still invalid after that, the page reports the JSON.parse error and does not invent a second repair.
Paths
A path starts with $ and then uses .key, [index], or .*. Recursive descent, written as .., is rejected.
XML
XML conversion reads elements and text. Attributes, doctypes, and processing instructions stop the conversion with an error.
